The New Pond:

Located on Parish Lane, Pease Pottage. This 4 acre secluded pond has over 30 swims and fish to suite all anglers. Carp to over 20lb, Pike in the high doubles as well as a heavy stocking for bream, roach, perch, rudd and a new stocking of tench make this water the premier match venue.
Night fishing is available all week long. There is also ample onsite parking with both the main and top car park secured by the main gate which is only accessible with the code located in the membership book.

Special Rules:
No keep nets to be used except in club organised matches (nets supplied)
All other standard club rules apply as per your book.

Ballast Hole:

This off the beaten track water takes its name from its origins as a query pit. It can be accessed from the A2011 towards Copthorne however due to large scale land development it is recommend that anglers park in Clare Close, off Grattons Drive in Pound Hill.
Again holding a large head of Carp to high doubles, with unconfirmed reports of 20s beginning to come out on a regular basis. There is also a very good stocking of pike with some very large specimens coming out each winter. This snaggy venue offers exciting sport as well as open water to choose from.

Special Rules:
No access or fishing is permitted on the North bank which runs parallel to the rail way line.
Parking by the path is strictly at your own risk as the club do not own the surrounding land including roads and path ways.
All other standard club rules apply as per your book.

Tilgate Country Park - Campbells Lake:

Of the two lakes located in Tilgate Country Park, Campbells Lake is the bigger and offers the most sport. At ** acres this vast water holds some true treasures with carp to over 30lb.
We also have acces to the top 'Silt Lake'

Special Rules:
This lake is owned by Dynamic Adventures and is also used for water sports and boating during the day. Please be respectful of other lake users.
Day tickets are available from the boating hut as well as Jack Frost Tackle and The Tackle Warehouse. Tickets MUST be purchased before arriving at the water. No Ticket, NO FISHING.
Dynamic Adventures Staff, Crawley Council and Tilgate Park Wardens may also ask to see CAS books. Please be respectful of this.

No Fishing on the green between by the boat house. Two yellow posts indicate the no fishong area

Buchan Country Park

Another park lake water that offers a challenge, especially for the carp anglers. Stocked with bream, roach, and pike, silver fish as well as elusive carp that could offer the catch of a lifetime.

Special Rules:
Night fishing is only permitted on Tuesday and Saturday nights and only when in possession of a valid Night Fishing Book.
Brollies only are to be used at this venue. Strictly no bivvies.
Buchan Park Rangers and Crawley Council Wardens may also ask to see CAS books. Please be respectful of this.
Please be respectful of other park users.
No fishing or casting into the no fishing zone is permitted. Please see your book for details.
Appropriate net and unhooking equipment must be used as all times. Note that this venue contains large carp.
Fishing is only permitted in Douster pond.

Worth Park Lake (formally Milton Mount)

Located in Worth Park Gardens, Pound Hill. This small, newly renovated venue offers great family sport for the new angler with a good stocking off small carp, roach, rudd, and bream.

Strictly no night fishing
Fishing from designated platforms only. Please see your book.
Please respect other members of the public and local residence.


Ifield Mill Pond.


Accessible from both Gossops Green and Bewbush. the large expanse of water is home to variety of species including Carp, Bream, Tench and a variety of silvers.

This water offers great fishing fall all levels and abilities.

Fishing is permitted 7 days and week, however no fishing is permitted on the Ifield side located by the Mill House.

Please be aware that this area is also open public park land so please be courteous to other park users, local residents and patrolling park wardens.
