Basic Rules:
The lake is CAS members only. It is ten acres in size and contains Roach, Rudd,Carp,Bream,Tench, Gudgeon, Pike and Perch. This venue has recently undergone a huge dredging and de-silting operation so is still settling down to it’s former glory. There are plans for swim refurbishment and rebuilding in the near future with a maximum of 19 swims allocated. Fishing is only allowed from designated swims.
Night fishing is allowed but it is essential that you are quiet and do not disturb the residents who live close by.
Keepnets are allowed but Carp must be released after unhooking. Make sure you abide by club rules which include no fires, barbecues, radios and of course always take your litter home. Fishing is only allowed along the Gossops Green side of the lake as detailed on the map and NOT permitted on the railway side.
Bait Boats are permitted, however we remind anglers to respect other fishermen and users of the lake. Any disputes may mean we will have to re-consider this rule. This is the only CAS venue where three rods are permitted.
